Brief music CV

Hi, my name is Dimitris Katsanis, i am the inspirator and the main author of this innovative and pioneering book. By the way, i was born in Athens Greece.

My music studies contain several years of opera singing lessons, two years of Byzantine singing, seminars on singing technique and expression, violin, guitar and piano lessons.

The book

It was the third year i was attending opera singing lessons when a co-student of mine asked me if i knew where my vocal folds inside my body were. Although i should know, i didn't!
This simple but very important question was the spark that ignited my will for researching the subject of human voice that resulted into this book.
What pushed me more was the ignorance and the luck of information and bibliography on the aspect of human voice, speaking and singing. A book that would give to anyone interested the complete knowledge needed in simple writing on a scientific basis.
